Boutique travel to Rhodes. According to Opodo travel site, holiday makers who are seeking a high-end break should get on a flight to Rhodes and stay in a 'boutique' hotel on the island. Avoiding the package zone, the Rhodes Tourist Board recommends boutique hotels and exclusive resorts for those not wishing to be part of a mass coach tour but prefer a more individual holiday.The tourist board says that many of the best small hotels are in the medieval old town and highlights the Avalon Hotel. This small hotel has only six suites with flat screen tv, jacuzzi bath and wifi internet. The Avalon mixes new and old in a delightful combination - set in the fortified walls of the old town, yet with all mod cons which high end travellers would expect.

Reported on the BBC website and in nearly all the UK media, is the case of the Sunday league team who decided to dress as nuns whilst on their Greek holiday. On top of this insulting decision, the Brits then added stockings and suspenders. They were soon rounded up by police and then appeared in court to answer charges.
