Not only do Nomad International deliver your goods and belongings to you, but they also deliver good will as they are supporters of the Greek Crete-based charity Sara's Hope Foundation. So, when Nomad International approached us at Quest Greek Islands about helping raise awareness, we happily agreed to support this cause.
The Foundation had received donations of toys, guitars, video game consoles, DVDs, books, pictures... everything required to make the villa in Crete a fantastic and fun place for their guests. The only problem was getting the gifts to Crete!
GedHoburn from Sara's Hope contacted Nomad to see if they could help. With vehicles heading from the UK to Crete twice per month, Nomad were ideally suited to the task. DHL kindly brought all of the goods from Newcastle down to Nomad International's warehouse in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Nomad agreed to transport them all the way to the Greek island of Crete.
Spring is a very busy time for removals to Crete, but Nomad managed to accommodate the consignment of 129 cubic feet all on the one vehicle, which set off from the UK on 3rd May. Exactly one week later Nomad delivered the gifts to the Sara's Hope villa in Kambia, Crete, much to the excitement of the Foundation members at the villa in Crete.
Taliesen Hollywood of Nomad International said "We were very pleased to be able to support such a worthwhile charity. I'm sure this wonderful villa will bring a great deal of happiness to children with cancer and their families, and we were glad to be able to contribute in this small way."

Ged and Julie Hoburn set up the Foundation in memory of their daughter Sara, who tragically passed away in 2001 at the age of 16 after a two year battle with cancer. Sara was a very special person who loved life and was an inspiration to all who met her. She loved family holidays, and Greece was her favourite destination.
